Sept SOTM, New Holiday Expressions, & National Stamping Month Special!

I have so much to share with you today!

First up is this card that I made using Feel So Blessed, the September Stamp of the Month set.

I this set!

I used our Hearts Thin Cuts to cut the main heart shape.

Then I used my waterbrush and added a little colour to portions of the stamped feathers, the "Thanks", and the the little heart.

I then added a bit of shine with my Shimmer Brush.

I am so very happy to share our NEW Holiday Expressions catalog with you!

Check it out HERE.

And last up, I have to show you this wonderful From The Heart Card Kit for National Stamping Month!  Check out how you can even get it for FREE!

I am especially loving this layering stamp set, which includes the larger sentiments.

Sweet Life

I had some scrap pieces left over from my Forever & Always Cut Above Kit, after making these layouts back in April.

So I used them up and created this layout.

Live The Story You Want To Tell

Still playing with the same colours as yesterday, I made this pretty card.

The hearts borders are from the new CTMH Heart Border Thin Cuts.

And the sentiment is a special stamp we received at Convention.
(Not available for purchase, but I really want to use these awesome sentiment stamps that we received.)

Hi There

I was playing with the new CTMH colour of the year - Bashful, and made these 3x3 cards.

Such a soft and pretty pink.

Another new thing to mention is that our white-core cardstock is double-sided now, with the original colour on the front, and a lighter shade on the back.

You should be able see the slight difference in the shades in these photos.

I LOVE that it doubles our cardstock colours!

School Year - August SOTM

It is nearing that time of year again, at least where I live.

School will be starting in about 2 1/2 weeks.

I used the August Stamp of the Month set, School Year, to make this card.

Large Card Box

Hey, all!

I re-typed and re-vamped my instructions for my Large Card Box that I lost when I dropped my laptop about two years ago.

These new instructions include updated photos, and I also added cutting guides.

I was able to fit 18 cards and envelopes into the box shown below, but with less bulky cards, it could fit up to 24.

This would make a nice handmade gift to give someone, filled with Christmas, birthday, or all-occasion cards.

It holds standard A2 size cards:  4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

I sell my instructions for this card box for $4 through Paypal.

Payments can be sent to:  vwizniuk@pris.ca

Be The Light

Every year for Convention goers, there is an opportunity to create a layout for a contest.
(I wasn't one of the top 10 winners this year...)

This year's Convention theme was "Who Tells Your Story?", and in keeping with the theme, we were to create a layout that tells part of our own personal story.

I chose to create a layout about me and journal about my recent struggles with a severe anxiety disorder that seemed to come out of nowhere, fast and hard, like someone turned a light switch on... and left it on.

The page has a flip-flap that flips open to reveal my hidden journaling.

And this is my story that I shared...

I talk openly to anyone and everyone about my anxiety, as there is no shame in it.  We are not alone in these struggles in our lives.  I certainly am not the only person in the whole wide world that is dealing with this.  Although the details of my story may be slightly different than others struggling with anxiety, I have and am travelling down my own path of healing and enlightenment.  All struggles come with learning.  And I have learned so much, about life, about myself.

If anyone reading this is needing to reach out to someone, please know I am more than willing to be an ear for you.  And if you want to hear about it, just ask and I will share with you what I learned through my personal journey and how I tackle my anxiety head on.  Just send me an email... vwizniuk@pris.ca

Wishing you all Love & Light!

And happy creating!  :)
